Valentina’s School of Ballet is fully devoted to providing ballet dancers of all ages an encouraging environment where they are given the opportunity to grow and excel in their ballet education.
Valentina’s School of Ballet offers the best ballet training available in Michigan.
Our students will be trained using the Vaganova Syllabus of classical Russian ballet technique, the world’s most rigorous and thorough style of ballet. All students who wish to apply themselves to learn the discipline of classical ballet are welcome. Those who aspire to dance professionally have the chance to train with exceptional teachers.
The Vaganova curriculum provides ballet students with a structured scientific dance methodology and pedagogical approach that goes beyond basic technique. Students will receive performance experience, not only through community concerts, festivals, and studio recitals, but through participating in national and international competitions.
Are you looking for professional training for your dedicated dancer? Do you want them to attend only prominent competitions such as YAGP or ADC IBC where they can receive scholaships to Summer Intensives or even a chance to be offered a traineeship/apprenticeship at a professional dance company?
Valentina’s School of Ballet offers a year-round pre-professional program for serious dancers. For those young dancers, VSB also offers a little kids program (ballet, jazz, & conditioning) starting at age 3.5. Our end-of-year recital includes a full-length ballet where even our youngest dancers get to perform.
VSB’s professional teachers offer instruction in ballet, pointe, variations, contemporary, character, improvisation, conditioning, and stretching. Our guest teachers include Christie Sciturro (MCB), Andrii Ischchuk (ABT) and Mackenzie Bartlett (Ballet West II).
